Human Noise
We are such noisy creatures.
Bones pop.
Blood rushes.
Stomachs gurgle.
Lungs exhale / inhale.
In the silent moments,
I can hear your eyelids close.
No wonder my sleeping cat
Wakes when I draw near.

The audio imagery is quite illustrative. You can almost hear the sounds as you read.

Wow, what a fun piece. I agree with Raeven, I like the inclusion of the feline. Though now I wonder if my hearing is off - I can't hear eyelids close, heh.
