As of 21 minutes ago, my poetry book giveaway is over. There were a total of 24 entries from 11 contestants, and using Random.org, three winners were picked:

Big congratulations to the winners. I've contacted each of you on Facebook -- I'll need contact info for all of you (well...except Christina. She's kinda in the same town I am) so I can send your books along once I finish writing them.

In celebration of the 100th poem on GabrielGadfly.com, I'm launching a giveaway.

What You Can Win
I'll be giving away three books of poetry, handwritten and signed by myself, containing as many poems as I can fit into a single spiral-bound journal. Given the line count of most of my poems, that should mean each book will contain anywhere from 30 to 50 of my best poems.

These books are handwritten, imperfect, but raw: a gift from me to you as thanks for your support. Once you win, you may do with them as you please: frame it on your wall, read it until the pages fall out, or burn it.

Contest Rules

• Winners will be chosen two weeks from today, on the 15th of November.
• Winners will be selected by random drawing using Random.org.
• Contest entries will be accepted up until 11:59 p.m., November 14th, Central time zone.
• Once a winner is selected, all of his or her other entries are removed from the random drawing pool. No entrant may win more than once.

Each contestant may earn up to 5 chances to win:

• Up to 3 chances to win - Post a comment on a poem on this site. One entry per comment (up to three), and each comment must be on a different poem.
• 1 chance to win - Make a blog post linking to http://gabrielgadfly.com. The post must be at least 100 words long and contain the words/phrases "Gabriel Gadfly," "poet," and "weblit."
• 1 chance to win - Post a photo of yourself on the Gabriel Gadfly Facebook Fan Page with the GabrielGadfly.com homepage visible on a computer screen next to you. You'll have to become a fan to post a photo.
