Who wants some zombie lovin'?

Anna Harte, the author of Above Ground and Darksight, has finished up a new book: Hungry For You, a delightfully macabre collection of short stories that gnaw into the boundaries between love and death, will be released in a few days as a downloadable ebook.

Many of you know how much I'm a fan of good zombie media, so I was proud that Anna asked me if she could include my poem A Love to Die For as a small introduction to the book.

The book features 11 stories, written from the varying perspectives of the living and the dead. I haven't had a chance yet to read through the whole thing (Anna tossed an advance copy at me a few hours ago), but the first story, Promises, is a a solid step into a world where love persists -- or is perverted -- beyond death, and I'm looking forward to reading through the rest.

The ebook will be available February 1st, with a print edition coming at an as-yet-unannounced future date.
